  2. Airport Advisory Board

    The board considers all matters pertaining to the business, operation, conduct and use of the Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport and all of its facilities and improvements.

  6. Board of Adjustment

  7. Building & Standards Commission

    The commission reviews and acts upon the proposed condemnations of vacant buildings in the City.

  16. Historic Preservation and Design Review Board

    The board issues certificates of appropriateness Class "A" Permit authorizing the total or partial alteration of a structure which is zoned as a heritage site either in the heritage Landmark District or in a Heritage Overlay District.

  17. Housing Authority (BHA)

    The board's purpose is to provide housing subsidies to needy families, work with the Section 8 Housing Program that encourages and requires residents to invest their time and energy by working and/or attending school toward an education.
